After months of speculation, Rosario Dawson couldn’t help but smile as she confirmed on Thursday that she’s dating New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker.
While walking through Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., Dawson was asked by TMZ whether there was any truth to the reports that they are in a relationship.
“Yeah,” she said with a grin. “Yes, very much so.”
“So far so wonderful,” added Dawson, 39, before piling on the praise for the 49-year-old politician, who is running for president. “He’s a wonderful human being. It’s good to spend some time together when we can.”
But for now Dawson, who is also the co-founder of Vote Latino, is staying mum on whether an engagement could be in the cards.
“I have no idea,” she told TMZ. “I am just grateful to be with someone that I respect and love and admire so much who is so brilliant, and kind, and caring, and loving.”
Reps for Booker and Dawson did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Booker himself was a little less coy about their future when he opened up about his then-mystery girlfriend last month.
Admitting he was no longer a bachelor during his appearance on the syndicated radio show The Breakfast Club, Booker told host Charlamagne tha God, “I got a boo.”
“I’m dating someone is very special,” he said, before hinting that wedding bells could ring for them before the 2020 presidential election.
“There’s two more years, so give me some time,” he said. “My girlfriend might listen to this.”

The pair sent romance rumors into overdrive in January after attending a showing of Broadway’s Dear Even Hansen together, alongside Dawson’s daughter, Lola, and Booker’s niece.
There, an onlooker told PEOPLE, the two were all smiles with one another during a cast meet-and-greet. Dawson even sang “I love you, te amo” — Spanish for “I love you” — to Booker in an “impromptu, made-up-on-the-spot” tune.
According to Page Six, the two have known each other for years.
Dawson split from comedian Eric Andre in the fall of 2017.
Booker has has been linked to the poet Cleo Wade and Chanda Gibson, who runs the Council of Urban Professionals, according to Page Six and the Washington Post.
